REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

This Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) governs all purchases of memberships, courses, digital products, coaching services, program fees, and event registrations made through Academy of the Bible (“AOB”).

This Policy forms part of the AOB Terms of Service and is binding on all Users.

By making any purchase, you agree to this Policy in full.

1. GENERAL REFUND PRINCIPLES

AOB provides digital education, theological training, memberships, coaching, and event-based programming. Due to the nature of digital content and immediate access, many purchases are non-refundable except as explicitly stated in this Policy.

Refund eligibility varies by product category.

2. DIGITAL PRODUCTS, COURSES & DOWNLOADS

Digital products—including but not limited to courses, video lessons, PDF files, downloadable resources, modules, and study tools—are:

• Non-refundable once accessed, opened, streamed, downloaded, or used.
• Eligible for a seven (7) day refund guarantee only on first-time purchases.
• Ineligible for refunds after the 7-day initial window except at AOB's sole discretion.
• Not returnable or exchangeable.

Users are responsible for confirming:

• Device compatibility
• Stable internet access
• Ability to access Mighty Networks

Inability to access digital content due to User-side technical limitations does not warrant a refund.

3. MEMBERSHIP SUBSCRIPTIONS (MONTHLY OR ANNUAL)

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.

• Users may cancel at any time inside Mighty Networks under "Manage Subscription."
• Emailing support does not constitute cancellation.
• Cancellation prevents future billing but does not issue refunds for previous charges.
• A seven (7) day refund guarantee applies only to the initial subscription purchase.
• No prorated refunds are provided for partial months or early cancellations.

Users retain platform access until the end of the current billing cycle.

4. COACHING, CONSULTING & LIVE PROGRAMS

Payments for:

• Coaching packages
• Mentorship programs
• Live-format group programs
• Instructor-led intensives

are non-refundable once the program begins or any program materials are delivered.

If a money-back guarantee exists, it will be explicitly stated at purchase.

5. WEBINARS, LIVESTREAMS & ONLINE EVENTS

Unless specifically noted otherwise:

• All online event purchases are final.
• No refunds are issued for missed sessions, scheduling conflicts, or inability to attend live.
• AOB may issue credit toward future events at its sole discretion in cases of documented hardship.

Replay access is included only where explicitly stated.

6. PAYMENT PLANS

By selecting a payment plan, the User agrees to:

• Complete all scheduled installments
• Maintain updated billing information
• Allow all charges to process successfully

Failure to complete payments may result in:

• Suspension of course or membership access
• Termination of the account
• No refunds of amounts already paid

AOB reserves the right to recover outstanding balances.

7. CHARGEBACKS & PAYMENT DISPUTES (STRICT POLICY)

Chargebacks are strictly prohibited.

Users must contact AOB Support to resolve billing concerns before initiating a dispute with their bank.

If a User attempts a chargeback on a non-refundable purchase or after the refund window closes:

• Access may be suspended immediately
• AOB may contest the dispute
• Administrative, legal, and recovery fees may apply
• The User may be permanently banned from AOB
• The Banned Member Policy (Section 9) may be invoked

Initiating a chargeback for a transaction governed by this Policy is considered fraudulent misuse of the refund process.

8. BIBLE LANDS EXPERIENCE — REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS

Bible Lands Experience fees are governed jointly by:

• This Refund & Cancellation Policy
• The Bible Lands Experience Terms Addendum
• The independent tour operator's refund policies

The following rules apply:

8.1 AOB Installment 1 — AOB Experience Deposit ($1,600)

Non-refundable under all circumstances.

8.2 AOB Installment 3 — AOB Experience Balance ($1,600)

Refundable until March 13, 2026.

After this date, it becomes non-refundable.

8.3 Operator Installment — Land Package Payment ($1,600)

Refundable only under the tour operator’s stated Terms & Conditions.

The operator—not AOB—determines eligibility for refunds.

8.4 Chargebacks

Users may not initiate chargebacks for trip-related payments.

Doing so constitutes breach of Agreement.

9. BANNED MEMBER POLICY (NO REFUNDS)

If a User is removed or banned due to:

• Harassment, abusive behavior, or misconduct
• Violations of community standards
• Attempted redistribution of AOB content
• Chargeback abuse
• Threatening or unsafe conduct
• Violating AOB's Terms of Service

Then:

• No refunds will be issued for any prior payments.

• If the User attempts to rejoin under any alias, email, or new account, AOB may terminate access immediately.

• AOB is under no obligation to refund any subsequent payments after a ban.

This policy prevents abusive re-entry and protects the AOB community.

10. EVENT CANCELLATION BY AOB

AOB may modify, reschedule, or cancel programs, workshops, or events at any time.

If AOB cancels an event:

• A refund or credit may be issued at AOB's discretion.
• AOB is not responsible for incidental expenses (e.g., travel, lodging).

11. USER RESPONSIBILITY FOR BILLING INFORMATION

Users must maintain accurate, updated billing details.

Failed payments may result in:

• Loss of access
• Account suspension
• Termination

AOB is not responsible for access issues caused by failed or expired payment methods.

12. REQUESTING A REFUND (WHEN ELIGIBLE)

Users must submit refund requests to:

support@academyofthebible.org

Include:

• Full name
• Email used at purchase
• Order number
• Product purchased
• Reason for requesting refund

AOB will review and respond within a reasonable timeframe.

13. PROCESSING TIMELINES

Approved refunds typically process within:

• 7–10 business days (bank or card issuer timelines may vary)

14. POLICY UPDATES

AOB may modify this Policy at any time.

Continued use of AOB Services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

15. GOVERNING LAW

This Policy is governed exclusively by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
